Open natural weave
Shows the material clearly and lets more daylight through, with limited privacy.
Natural texture, tailored to the room
Natural bamboo, grass, and reed textures woven into a shade — a warmer, more organic look than fabric, for rooms that call for it.
Woven wood is the material we reach for when a room needs texture and warmth that a flat fabric shade just can’t give it.
Start with the weave
A sample can look different with daylight behind it, so we judge the weave at your window before choosing a liner.

Keeps the organic face while reducing silhouettes and visual noise from outside.
Adds a darker backing for bedrooms or TV rooms without losing the natural front texture.

Natural material, lining, fabrication, and controls determine the quote.
We show full samples at the window and explain expected natural variation before you approve the material.
Good to know
Depends on the weave — tighter weaves filter more light, looser weaves let more through with more texture visible. A blackout liner can be added behind almost any of them if you want both the look and real light control.
They work well in normal conditioned rooms, but we do not recommend natural woven materials for persistently damp or splash-prone locations. A synthetic or composite treatment is safer for those rooms.
Open weaves usually do not. A privacy or room-darkening liner is the reliable way to keep the natural look while controlling silhouettes after dark.
No. Natural reeds, grasses, and bamboo vary slightly in color and thickness. We coordinate the order, but some variation is part of the material.
Selected systems can. Weight, width, fold style, and material all need to be checked before specifying the motor.
Regular dusting with a soft brush or vacuum attachment is usually enough. They are less wipeable than vinyl or roller fabrics, which matters in kitchens and utility rooms.
